Communication Infrastructure

Radio stations
The district is disadvantaged in the area of communication infrastructure. Much as it is fairly served by the National Radio Uganda and some local and national F.M stations, information needs of the entire population are not adequately addressed, especially issues pertaining to their very lives.

The district does not have a local radio station and this has crippled effective mobilization and sensitization of the local population. Depending on radio stations in the neighbouring district of Soroti for mobilization and information dissemination is also very expensive for the district. Such monies would otherwise be used for other productive activities.
